Conjuncture: THE CENTER FOR CURRENT POLITICS IN RUSSIA PRODUCED A NEW REPORT RELATED TO THE PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS.
On the 15th of October the Center for current politics in Russia produced a new report “Political landscape before the parliamentary elections in 2007”.
The report deals with the following questions:
-Strategies of the parliamentary elections participants
-Effect of the parliamentary elections on the presidential campaign in 2008
-Possible amplification of the State Duma in a new power configuration
-Effect of Vladimir Putin presidency and government resignation on the election campaign
-Pre-election lists of the leading parties.
As the director general of the CCPR Mikhail Vinogradov noticed, “a special value of the report implications is given by superior importance of the parliamentary elections rather than presidential ones. Taking into account rapidity of the political life, election campaign may bear a great deal of surprises”.
