Chief Prosecutor Office in Lithuania allowed the pilot of the crashed Russian jet plane Su-27 Valery Troyanov to talk with military experts of the Russian Defense Ministry’s Committee, who take part in the investigations of this incident, and with journalists and family members as well. However, he remains on Lithuania territory under a home arrest. Director General of the Center for Current Politics in Russia Konstantin Simonov comments this situation to Strana.Ru.

All the political and economic life of Russia has recently been revolving around the stabilization fund. The elite are in haste to spend the Fund, not noticing how it highlights its rudimentary spots: the striving for the budget money and the fear before any responsibility. This is clear by the two main approaches to the Stabilization Fund. The first one: let’s spend it at least on something, after all, even if it is robbed away, a lot will be left for the progeny (reversed Siberian rivers, investments in helium exploration on the Moon in the worst case, new hospitals and emergency vehicles – in the best case). The second: let the money store in the box, maybe the progeny will be smarter and invent how to use it.
